BBQ Guru Challenge
KCBS, in partnership with BBQ Guru, is proud to unveil a brand new partner program for the 2014 season - the BBQ Guru Challenge! That's right - one more way for teams to earn additional money for expertly cooked barbeque.
Traveling alongside of the Great American Cookout to 10 select events, the BBQ Guru Challenge will be offering bonus cash prizes to the two registered teams who place the highest, using select BBQ Guru products. To be eligible, teams must use either the Onyx Oven or a Control System from BBQ Guru.
Online registration is available here. Teams will also have the opportunity to register onsite with Great American Cookout hosts, Mike and Christine Peters.
The top two highest scoring teams (not necessarily the Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion of the event) will receive a check for $750 and $300, respectively. In order to receive the prize earnings, teams must post a picture to their personal Facebook page and tag both BBQ Guru and KCBS on Facebook (The BBQ Guru and The Kansas City Barbeque Society) and on Twitter (@BBQ_Guru and @KCBBQSOCIETY).
