KCBS AWARDS BANQUET Announced

December 3, 2007
The 2008 Kansas City Barbeque Society Annual Awards Banquet will be held January 19, 2008 at the Sheraton Sports Complex (formerly the Clarion). This year's banquet will honor teams for their accomplishments for the 2007 season.

We are excited to announce a new addition to this year's banquet, Platinum Express. The Express is a unique nine-piece band featuring the "Full Steam Horn Section". What sets this band apart is the breadth of their musical tastes, their enjoyment of the music, and their ability to create a finger-poppin', heel-clicking, and just flat out fun dancing and listening experience. The Express plays in the straight-ahead, vibrant "Kansas City tradition". They feature horn centered Rhythm and Blues, hot-buttered soul and sophisticated funk. Make sure you're on board, 'cause this ride's a blast!
