February 2, 2011 KCBS and Sam’s Club are excited to announce The Inaugural Sam's Club National BBQ Tour! With $400,000 in prize money at stake as well as major bragging rights, this is one BBQ series you won’t want to miss out on!The Inaugural Sam's Club National BBQ Tour will feature 20 Local events, five Regional events and one National Championship event in Bentonville, Ark.
VERY IMPORTANT: Registration for all local events will begin on Feb. 8, 2011 at Noon EST and will end on Feb. 11, 2011 at Noon EST. During this 72-hour window, teams will be allowed to register only one (1) time for only one (1) local event. This is to ensure that as many teams as possible have the chance to enter The Inaugural Sam's Club National BBQ Tour. If all 600 spots are not claimed during this registration period, a second registration period will be announced. (Please read the rules and regulations by clicking here.)
After you select the event you want to participate in, the entry fee of $250 must be paid, in full, to the KCBS office in order to confirm and secure entry into the series. If a team fails to submit payment during the registration period, they will not be confirmed and may lose their chance to compete. Contest registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
