April 11, 2011Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped to make the Gilbert, Ariz. contest and Inaugural Sam’s Club BBQ Tour a blazing success!
Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Iowa’s Smokey D’s BBQ took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,500. Smoked to the Bone was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,000.
Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

- Brisket – Slap Yo’ Daddy BBQ
- Pork – Little Miss BBQ
- Ribs – Iowa’s Smokey D’s BBQ
