Bubba-Q’s takes home Inaugural Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour title in Santa Fe

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped to make the Santa Fe, N.M. contest and Inaugural Sam’s Club BBQ Tour a blazing success! 

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Bubba-Q’s took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,500. Jumpin’ Jim’s BBQ was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,000. 

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Carcass Cookers
• Brisket – Route 66 Catering Crew
• Pork – Carcass Cookers
• Ribs – The SmokeRing.com

The following teams earned a spot at the Regional Event in Las Vegas, Nev. on May 6-7:

*Because both IAB 30 BBQ and Rhythm 'n QUE previously qualified for the Las Vegas Regional Event, the 9^th place team moved on to the Regional Event.
