May 2, 2011Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped to make the Loveland, Co. contest and Inaugural Sam’s Club BBQ Tour a blazing success!
Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, The Skomin’s Hills BBQ took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,500. Pellet Envy was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,000.
Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:
- Chicken – The Smokin’ Hills
- Brisket – Pellet Envy
- Pork – OOPS – Outstanding Order of the Pig Society
- Ribs – Pellet Envy
