New Email Process for Membership Renewals
April 23, 2008 As is the case with most businesses these days, we are constantly trying to improve our KCBS procedures, routines and processes. For that reason, we are pleased to announce a new electronic membership renewal process that begins June 1, 2008 for expiring memberships. Here’s how it will work: If we have your email on file and your membership is expiring around June 1, we will be issuing your renewal invoice via EMAIL instead of “snail mail.” For added convenience, you will be able to pay your renewal by clicking a button on the email invoice and going directly to PayPal, where most major credit cards are accepted. Or if you prefer traditional payment methods, you can simply print out the invoice, write a check (or elect to pay by credit card) and mail it back to our office. Furthermore, if you would like to always renew using the postal method, then you can check a box on the invoice that will opt you out of future email renewals.
If we do not have an email on file for your membership, then we will continue the policy of sending your renewal invoice through the United States Postal Service.
We hope that this new procedure will be helpful to you and welcomed by the membership. It will certainly make things more efficient on our end, and hopefully will save KCBS a lot of unnecessary postal fees in the future.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the KCBS office at your earliest convenience. Keep in mind that this will only impact you if and when your current membership expires. There is nothing for you to do or prepare for in the meantime.
Sincerely,
KCBS Staff
