Lucky's Q takes home Sam's title in Rockford

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Rockford, IL, contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Lucky's Q took home Grand Champion and a check for $5,000. Truebud BBQ was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $3,000.

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – It's 5 O'clock Somewhere
• Brisket – Big Daddy's BBQ
• Pork – Farmboy BBQ
• Ribs – Lucky's Q
