BBQ Guru takes home Sam's title in Laurel

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Laurel, MD, contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, BBQ Guru took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,000. Hog It Up BBQ was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,500.

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Hog it Up BBQ
• Brisket – BBQ Guru
• Pork – Brown Liquor BBQ
• Ribs – BBQ Guru
