Sam's Tour Registration Begins Tomorrow Night!

Registration begins tomorrow!

Get ready for the 2013 Sam's Club National BBQ Tour! Registration begins TOMORROW at 7pm CDT.

Team registration for the 2013 Sam's Club National BBQ Tour begins tomorrow, Jan. 9, 2013, at 7 PM CDT. Mark your calendars and be ready; spots will fill up quickly! As in past years, payments can be made online through PayPal or by calling the KCBS office with your credit card number. Registration for each event on the Sam's Club National BBQ Tour is $250.

New for 2013 Registration:

There will be a live, online chat session to support team registrations from 6:30-8 PM CDT. A link to access the live chat will be found on kcbs.us and the KCBS social media platforms.

In the event a team is not able to compete or would like to change their event (where available), teams are now able to opt out online. Note: Refund rules and policy are still applicable.

While a team is on a waitlist for its preferred contest, that team will now be able to register for a second contest (which may have open team positions at the time) WITHOUT jeopardizing the team's original waitlist position during the process. However, if the team is successful in registering for the second contest, that team's waitlist position on the first contest will be forfeited and opened up to another team. During the process of seeking an open slot at a second contest, if the team ends up on a second waiting list, this will be the maximum number of attempts the team can make to enter the Sam's Club National BBQ Tour. When or if the team makes it into a contest via the waitlist, then the team's second waitlist position will be forfeited and made available to another team on the waitlist. The online programming for this process will be an automatic process.

Judges registration for the 2013 Sam's Club National BBQ Tour begins on Jan. 16, 2013, at 7 PM CDT. In the event that a judge cannot preside at an event, there will be an online opt-out button and the next person on the waitlist will be notified.

Registration for the National Championship event for Master Certified Judges will begin on Aug. 1, 2013.
