Parrothead Smokers take Sam's title in Albuquerque

Thank you to all the teams, judges, members and supporters that came out and helped make the Albuquerque, NM, contest and Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour a blazing success!

Scoring major bragging rights and KCBS Team of the Year points, Parrothead Smokers took home Grand Champion and a check for $2,000. 2-Can-Q was named Reserve Grand Champion, earning $1,500.

Congratulations to the following teams for finishing first in specific categories:

• Chicken – Parrothead Smokers 
• Brisket – Wild Hogs BBQ
• Pork – Route 66 Catering Crew
• Ribs – 2-Can-Q
