Tennessee was smokin’ hot as the Sam’s Club National BBQ Tour rolled into Hendersonville this past weekend. Besting a packed field of competitors, Swiggin Pig showed true mastery of the art of low and slow, and claimed the Grand Championship with an overall score of 700.0232. Trailing closely behind, Smoke Me Silly took home the Reserve Grand Championship. In addition to bragging rights, the teams pocketed $2,000 and $1,500, respectively.
Additional congratulations to the all of the teams who will advance to the Regional event in Southaven, Miss. on Sept. 6.
