My family loves to BBQ. We hold an annual 4th of July Rib cook off and have had years of fun and good food. My Broher and I have entered two sanctioned KCBS events and enjoyed each one. We haven't won a sanctioned event yet but we are just waiting for the right group of judges!! I won Smoke-A-Palooza in 2007....my brother finished 3rd. He followed that up with a 2nd in 2008. (I didn't place that year??) We are now teamed up to go against the teams from around the country. Competing is still a hobby for us....(an expensive one) But at least we get some good BBQ and meet some great people. See you at a contest soon.
