We're a couple of government engineers that started out using (rented) government equipment! Visited Whistlestop in 2008 and thought it looked like fun, so we decided to give it a try. No amateur spots left, so pro we go. Had never even fired up a grill until competition day - EVER - and still placed 36th out of 62 teams - we were hooked! Riverfest was our second time out - still no practice! - and we made it to 18th. A little more work and we'll get there!! T-shirts are coming: "In Pork We Trust"
