Kenny and Charlie Pope were born and raised in Rocky Mount,N.C. on the fall line of the "mighty" Tar River. Also considered by many to be the heart of the Carolina BBQ country.Our belief and practice is to remain loyal to the practice of traditional wood cooked BBQ.Other traditions our team has adopted is to always fly the North Carolina state flag any time the smoker is up and going in honor of North Carolina BBQ.
