Year Started: 2005

2 Men and a Pig was formed in 2005 by three lifelong friends one of whom is "Pig". Our first contest was in Birmingham, AL 2005 and our second was Birmingham 2006. In 2007 we purchased our first smoker and ventured into the world of competition barbecue. Since then we have upgraded smokers, trailers, equipment, and our process. From 2007 through 2009 we cooked approximately 18 contests. Our best results were a Reserve in Livingston, 4th place in Haleyville and 14th in Talladega. In 2010 we decided to try our best to really spend more time competing and as of August we have been to 12 KCBS events! In these 12 events we have 2 Grand Championships and 1 Reserve.
