WILLIE'S HOG POND
Year Started: 2007
Members:
GUY M BRUNSON
We didn't start competing until May of 2007 and didn't do so well on our 1st time out. In June of 2007 we bought a Horizon competition smoker which we got a couple of days Before the July Art of BBQ. We received our first ribbon in Brisket (10th place) at the Art of BBQ which felt great. In 2009 we attended the Old School vs High Tech competition cooking class. 1st competion after the class was Stillwater where we walked 3 times and took 9th overall. The class was one of the smartest things we've done in BBQ.
