Backyard Hobbiest stepped over into obsession. It all started from a weak moment of my wife, JoAnn when she bought me my first smoker (Brinkman Pitmaster Deluxe)in 2002. My first experience of competition was in a local rib comp 2006 when I took second out of thirteen. My first KCBS sanctioned competetion was in 2007 (MN in May),second KCBS contest was Mason City with no call ups however had a good show in Mason City. I smoke-n-bbq all wild game as my speciality!

Biggest Wins: Third place ribs (23 teams)in Kasson, MN 2007, and second place ribs 2006 Kasson (13 teams). Both events NOT KCBS sanctioned. 16th place ribs at Up In Smoke - Mason City, IA 2007 (KCBS)
