WaunaQue is glad to be part of KCBS and is enjoying the event vending, catering and unsanctioned competitions we've done in 2014, but we are missing competition weekends with our KCBS friends.

We really enjoyed participating in the Conscious Carnivore Presents Brew, BBQ and Blues at Capitol Brewery in Middleton, WI. We sold seven briskets and 36 stuffed, smoked mini sweet peppers in one hour. Then we got 3rd place in Sunday's unsanctioned competition. Trying to compete and sell lunch with only two guys did not help us stay focused on what we turned in for judging.

We had fun being part of the Bacon, Brew and BBQ Festival put on by Starting Line Events in Sun Prairie, WI. Those Berkshire pork shoulders from Black Earth Meats really made great pulled pork samples. We won 2nd place with our custom injection, rub and sauce on that wonderfully marbled Berkshire pork.

We are looking forward to helping catering clients celebrate things like 30 years in business and 40 years of marriage.

We are looking forward to the Lodi/Lake Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce BBQ ribs and home brewing competition this September in downtown Lod, WI. Join us to celebrate great WI traditions like small towns, BBQ and craft brewing!
