Steer Crazy BBQ started competing in 2009 after spending close to 10 years smoking for friends and family and getting more serious about our BBQ in the last 5 years.
Years of practice paid off, our very first competition, Wheels and Squeels contest in August of 2009 placed us 5th overall out of 48 teams. 3rd in Pork, 6th in Brisket and 10th in Ribs.
Our 2nd competition, Autumn Blaze cook off placed Steer Crazy BBQ 10th overall out of 49 teams with a 7th in Chicken and 9th in Brisket. In our first 2 competitions we placed in all 4 KCBS categories and twice in Brisket.
