BIG SKY BBQ
Year Started: 2011
Members:
JOSH BOVEE
Originally hailing from the picturesque town of Columbus, MT nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountain range, Cooper and Josh both relocated to the Kansas City area over a decade ago. Cooper for college in 1996 and Josh for work in 2000. Being the avid BBQ fans and big eaters that they are, both became KCBS CBJs in 2010 and have now entered the competition circuit. They look to bring some flavors of the Big Sky state to the masses and have a lot of fun while doing it.
Ryan Hale and Matt Locke are both Lee's Summit, MO natives and join the team as master sheetmetal fabricators for the construction of Big Sky BBQ's smokers. They also bring a lifetime's experience of eating and cooking KC-style BBQ to the team.
