Long ago as a teenager I dreamed of having our very own family pig cooker. At the time my father had been working very hard to buy all the things needed to build a cooker on wheels.
In 1985 with all parts in hand our next door neighbor Arthur Moore, dad and myself started building and welding and in a few days we had our very own pig cooker ready to cook.
Dad, my brothers and I started cooking chicken, pork shoulders and whole hogs trying this and that until we had our rubs and sauce perfect. We have been asked to cater birthday parties, weddings, family reunions, graduations, and block parties just to name a few.
In 2011 my parents bought me the best gift a brand new cooker. We have expanded our menu to provide you with the best backyard barbecue experience you will ever have. Let Smoke 'n Rib BBQ Pit & Catering surprise you at your next event.
Kevin, Darrell, and some family members started in 2012 a private BBQ catering service. We have been living in the Castle Hayne NC area all our life and look forward to serving this tri-county area the best barbecue in the business.
