Perry, Rob and Bill have cooked together as the noisy trio known as Chi-Town Smokers since 2003.
2006 and 2007 found the Chi-Town Smokers with a GC in 2006 at Racine WI and a handful of top ten finishes in 2007 including first place pork at the Illinois State BBQ Championship at Shannon, IL qualifying for the the 2008 Butt To Butt and a shot at the coveted boars tooth.
Bill stepped back his competitions in 2008 to concentrate on his sauce brand and compete solo as Head's Red BBQ, and Rob and Perry continue to compete as a duo winning Reserve Grand Champion at the Red, White and Blue BBQ in Westmont, IL in 2009 as well as a 6th place finish at the Illinois State Championship at Shannon, IL in 2009, their top finish ever at that very tough competition.
