PINKIE'S BBQ
Year Started: 2011
Members:
DUANE CLARK
I developed a passion for cooking several years ago with BBQ always being one of the crowd favorites. In the winter of 2011 I bought a competition smoker and began learning how to regulate it testing different creations every weekend. So we decided to start out on the BBQ trail and try out some of the nearby events. So far we have had nothing but a lot of fun and met some pretty cool people we now call friends.
We are extremely proud to have been a part of organizing the 1st annual BBQ 4 the Troops in Fort Riley Ks to benefit the Wounded Warrior Battalion. We fed over 1500 soldiers and their families as well as taught the art of BBQ to some of the wounded warriors.
