Rod started judging BBQ in 1988 and was certified in 1996. I have always wanted to see if what we cooked was any good to those out side of family, so I started a BBQ team with the help of my mother in 2008. We had a great 2008, but year two was really difficult. See ya out there 2010.

Most wins in a year: Still listening for a call in the big four besides chicken.
Biggest Wins: So far: 1st place Sausage 2008 Raytown Cookoff.
1st place Desert 2008 Harrisonville Square Off. We cashed for a 8th & 10 place chicken in 2008 as well. In 2009 a 9th place Sausage at Smokin in the Creek. And we closed out our season with a 3rd place Chef's Choice in the Blues Springs Blaze Off.
