THE PIT CREW GAYear Started: 2009
We gained a lot of knowledge and trophies while cooking Backyard Division in KCBS, MBN. GBA and FBA. With the urging of our fellow BBQ Team Friends to make the next step we did. We found our home with the KCBS and moved up to the Pro Division in late August of 2010. Tina is the Head Cook for our team and has a food-service background. She has the skill set and the drive to be the best.
In late 2012 we moved from Weber Smoky Mountains and started competing with our Southern Q smoker (Yellow Belle) and a new 16' trailer set up for BBQ competition.
Our first Contest of the 2013 Season was The Sam's Club National BBQ Tour and we took the Grand! Our first ever grand, with a 1st in Ribs and 3rd in Brisket. We are looking forward to cooking this year and you can find our schedule posted on our Facebook page under The Pit Crew BBQ Team. Sponsors: Always looking! Currently we cook with a Southern Q gravity fed smoker and Royal Oak Charcoal and we use Fruita wood Chunks wood. To date we do not sponsors we are all Self Pay Baby!
