Founded by Charlie Laughon and David McMillan. Fatt Ashes BBQ, is a professional competition BBQ team based in Lakeland FL. The team began competing in January of 2008 with its first backyard competition at the Lakeland Pig Fest, one of the largest amateur contests in the southeast. Three short years later with a box full of trophies and a Grand Championship under our belts, we decided it was time to begin our pro career.
