Slap Yo Moma originated in back yard of Kenny Skaggs (Pitmaster) on a Weber kettle grill as a way of entertaining family and friends. Encouraged by family, and with the addition of a Charbroil Smoker, Slap Yo Moma developed into a small secondary source of income for the family. In the summer of 2006 they purchased a Lang smoker and have not looked back since. About that same time Jim Bennett joined the team, having similar interests in Bar-B-Que. Along with their wives, Annette and Sheila, and the children, the Slap Yo Moma competition cook team was formed. Slap Yo Moma Bar-B-Que .....it's that good.
