All Hogs Go to Heaven is a competition BBQ team that was born from a love of great BBQ, an abandoned water heater, and a vision. Our Pitmaster, Steve Madaule hails from Lancaster, California and heads a dedicated crew of family and friends at competitions all across the west. We have qualified and competed at the 2006 & 2007 American Royal invitational in Kansas City, Missouri and represented the State of California at the 21st Annual Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue competition in Lynchburg, Tennessee on October 24, 2009. 2012: Overall California Barbeque Association Team of the Year 10th place out of 105 teams. Chicken 14th, Ribs 25th, Pulled Pork 6th,and Brisket 9th. Received 11 overall placings in the top 10 out of 19 contests. Won Reserve Grand Champion at the Golden Acorn BBQ contest in Campo,CA. All Hogs Go to Heaven finished 98th out of 7,391 teams in the Kansas City BBQ Team of the Year race.
2011: Overall California Barbeque Association Team of the Year 17th place out of 77 teams. Chicken 5th out of 86 teams, ribs 9th out of 83 teams, port 7th out of 83 teams, and brisket 24th out of 80 teams. Received 9 overall placings in the top 10 out of 17 contests. All Hogs go to Heaven finished 112th out of 5,570 teams in the Kansas City BBQ Team of the Year race.
2010: Overall California Barbeque Association Team of the Year 4th place out of 79 teams. Chicken - 3rd place out of 96 teams, Ribs - 4th place out of 90 teams, Pull pork - lst place in pull pork for the second year in a row, Brisket - Tie for 13th place out of 88 teams. 11 overall placing in the top 10 out of 17 contests.
2009: Wayout West BBQ Stockton, CA - Reserve Grand Champion; West Coast BBQ Championship Fairfield, CA - Back to Back (2) Grand Champions; Red, Hot, & Real BBQ Competition Clovis, CA - Reserve Grand Champion. Selected to represent the State of California in 2009 at the 21 Annual Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue competition in Lynchburg, Tennessee. All Hogs go to Heaven received a 9th place ribbon and a bottle of Jack Daniels in brisket out of 80 teams. All Hogs go to Heaven received an award from the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) for 3rd place in the world for pull pork in 2009. We were the California BBQ Association (CBBQA) Team of the year in pull pork for 2009. Received the Presidential Award given for "Achievement and Ambassadorship of BBQ and our support of the CBBQA".
2008: Sun City Festival BBQ Cook Off & Balloon Festival Buckeye, AZ - Reserve Grand Champion. California BBQ Association Team of the Year in Chicken for 2008.
2007: Go for the Gold Victorville, CA - Grand Champion; Beachfront BBQ Competition Imperial Beach, CA - Reserve Grand Champion; Rock N' Ribs Salt Lake City, UT - Reserve Grand Champion; Rosemead Street Faire - Grand Champion; Duel in the Desert Chandler, AZ - Reserve Grand Champion. American Royal 13th place in Dessert.
2006: Modesto Street Scene and Kingsford/Masterpiece BBQ Modesto, CA - Grand Champions; Beachfront BBQ Competition Imperial Beach, CA - Grand Champion. American Royal 13th place in Chicken out of 87 teams. California BBQ Association Team of the Year in Ribs for 2006.
