Introduced to BBQ through my friend Scot while living in Kansas City, experimented with smoking on the gas grill, and realized If I really wanted to do it right, I needed to get an actual smoker. I worked off of a Good One Open Range for several years for family and friends, did my first neighborhood contest in 2010. I upgraded to the Marshall and recruited a friend to the team for 2011.
