HIRAM'S BONES
Year Started: 2004
Members:
JAN LEA
ROY ORTH
Hiram's Bones was originally formed in 2004 as the Ararat Shrine Cooking Team. The group primarily prepared meals for Shrine charitable events while competing in a limited number of competitions.
The team chose the name "Hiram's Bones" in 2010 to better reflect its Masonic roots. The team continues to prepare meals for charitable events including the Heart of America Veteran's Stand Down, Ronald McDonald House, US Military personnel deploying or coming home, and the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City to name a few. Competition cooking success is still a goal and challenge we chase after every year.
