We cooked our first contest when my daughters were 14 and 11 as a family event to do something with dad. Since our first contest where we took reserve grand champion we have had several successes. Winning several contests being called at the American Royal Invitational and cooking the Jack. We have also been on the food channel at a BBQ contest and have taught many BBQ classes.
