BIG UGLY'S BBQ

Year Started: 2004
Members:
JASON HALL
KAITLYN HALL
TERI HALL
CHRIS HALL

Chris (Big Ugly) Hall - Pitmaster. I got the bug for BBQ while living in Hawaii. The family spent so much time at the beach, surfing, and fishing, that almost all meals were cooked over a fire or on a grill in the traditional Hawaiian style. It wasn't until the family came back to the states in 2004, that I started to get a bit more serious about outdoor cooking. I rescued a Char-Griller that was about to become scrap, and fixed it up. The rest is history or a fiasco, that has yet to be determined.

Kaiti Hall - Kaiti has been there from the start. When not attending to her college studies, or texting her friends, or chasing boys, she is our turn in specialist, and detail monitor.

Jason Hall - Sometimes referred to as "Lil' Big Ugly", he's not really that Lil', Jason is the muscle of the team. He does some of everything, and is the escort for Kaiti during turn-in's. Jason is quickly becoming a Q'er in his own right, as he practices with the trim pieces to develop his own style.

Casey Hall - Casey is coming into his own as a Q'er also. Following his brothers lead, he is quickly learning the in's and out's of the kitchen and pit. One of his biggest assets (or liability, depending on how you see it) is his love for hot sauces. He slip's a drop in almost everything he eats, so I think we may be changing his name to "Cast Iron Stomach" in the near future.

Josh Davenport - Josh strolled over to the house one day, after we moved in, and asked what we were cookin. From that point he's become a regular fixture at comps and backyard festivities. His skills and attention to detail are a vital part of our team.
