Our family was looking at throwing a 80th birthday party for my grandma and wanted to do pulled pork. I told my dad I would go buy a smoker I seen for sale for cheap and let?s give it a shot. After a few trial errors with different items we decided on a recipe and it went great. Since then I have been doing R&D on ribs, brisket, chicken and pork, and wow it has been an adventure.

I decided it was fun cooking for family and friends but how do you really know it is any good until you start doing competitions? So I set out to find one and with a month to go I thought I can't just use a bottled bbq sauce or someone else?s rub recipe. Setting out to find something unique and what really set the bar high I finally got my main sauce and rub together. And frankly it keeps getting better and better with time and fine changes!

Ladies and Gentleman of the circuit, I am hungry and I will be coming to get a piece of the GC.
