TIMMY LOVETT

I was raised up on a farm in Shell Bluff, Georgia in Burke County (Bird Dog Capitol of the World). I grew up with BBQ and one of my fondest memories were staying up all night and helping cook a hog over a pit. Mama would be in the kitchen making "Hog-Head" Hash and her homemade BBQ Sauce. It is a shame that those recipes went with her to her grave. I still search for those taste that was mamas'. I have come close to recreating her recipes, but there is still something missing. Truth is, it will never be mamas. I'm sure everyone can relate to that.
I married into Competition BBQ. My father in law and his family cooked professionally for over 18 years and is well know around the BBQ world. I have gained alot of experience from both of them in a relatively short time. It is safe to say I would not be doing this if it wasn't for them. I consider that a good thing.

I am also a KCBS Judge/ Table Captain and compete primary in KCBS contest.
