We cooked our first backyard contest at the 2005 Jack Daniels Shad tree, and were hooked. 2006 we did well in the backyard contests and decided to compete with the best, just to see if we could. We cooked our first KCBS sanctioned event in 2007, and have met so many wonderful people. We are looking forward to many more contests, and are looking for that first GC. The picture is from our first 1st place in a catagory. Now to improve on that.
