Located in Northern Virginia, Both Mike & Michelle Lackey in Bluemont Va. located in beautiful Shenandoah Valley, nestled in the heart of Prime BBQ and Wine country. Originally! Pitmaster: Mike, is from San Antonio, Texas!! and we all know Texans make the best BBQ ! Mike's Wife Michelle: is truly the Goddess of BBQ chicken and has proved herself invaluable to Hog-It-Up BBQ. Originally from Australia but now a US citizen, she retains that Aussie attitude and with just a few words she can have you too saying; Huh... what did she say? Hog-It-Up BBQ's smokers first fired up in 2007 when Mike and Michelle, after years of cooking BBQ for friends and family decided to put their talents to the test. After all it's what they do best! Today they are one of the top teams competing in KCBS, SAM's Club and Mid Atlantic Barbeque Association events up and down the Eastern Sea board, Appalachians and as far as the mid western US with plans to go national. Hog-It-Up BBQ having a native Texan Pitmaster onboard means they know good BBQ and being a State Grand Champion proves it. "BBQ a Uniquely American Sport"!

First time in the top ten overall.
