Year Started: 2007

Team Bio:
We won our first event in 2007, which was a non-sanctioned event. We cooked in 1 KCBS event in 2007 and got as high as 16 in Brisket. In 2008 we lost several of the original team as they could not travel and cook in as many events as we had planned. Today our team, consist of two main guys, Chris McCluskey and Doug Jakalski. We have different roles we play to round-out the team. Chris does most of the cooking and Doug preps the boxes. Both taste the product to determine what we put in the boxes. We have a couple of other guys that help on occasion and they are Vic Modugno and Mike Kelly. We are just a group of guys from the western burbs of Chicago that love BBQ and cook in general. We all come from different careers like sales, marketing, manufacturing and engineering. We are cooking on Big Green Eggs, Backwoods competitor and an off-set while using lump & charcoal.
