Team Name: Bannyhen's Southern Que Est:2015 Team Members:Torrey Douglas - Chief Cook, Alisa Douglas, Tahj Douglas, Amyiah Douglas , Antonio Douglas, Darrin Allen Team Bio: We are a family team that entered Competition BBQ because of our passion for Cooking Southern Que. Torrey received recommendation to enter the world of competition BBQ from a co-worker who happens to also be a certified kcbs judge and kcbs cook. Over the past 10 years with lots of practice, research along with trial and error, Torrey has developed a much greater passion for BBQ and has learned that this sport is an art and requires a special skill & patience. As a result, Torrey has learned how to properly manage flavor and internal cook temperatures for each meat category from Brisket, Chicken, Pork, Pork Ribs and even the ultimate challenge, Whole Hog. Torrey's plan is to offer a spectacular BBQ experience that appeal to judges with great appearance taste and tenderness to one day become one of the greatest pitmasters of North Most wins in a year?
