Bar-B-Que is a big part of my life, it started when I was a young child. I first learned the craft from my Dad, we cooked a lot. We would stay up all night tending to a 55 gallon smoker and burn barrell. He past away in September 2014, however, I've continued the craft and took all the knowledge I've learned and grown with it, always experimenting and striving for that perfect bite of smoked meat. So everytime I see that smoke roll out I think of Dad and how he'd be so proud of me. Cooking is my passion, it's way of life, a brotherhood, staying up all night around a cooker with my best friends is so enjoyable. It's not so much about the rewards, trophies, and money as it is the memories and bonding while cooking and of course watching everyone eat that delicious juicy smoked meat you've labored over. It's always funny how a loud group of people waiting at the table for the plates to arrive turns to silence and "mmmm's, ohhh's when they start eating, that's what I enjoy the most about cooking!
