My wife and I began competing in the Backyard Class in 2016 just for fun and to spend a weekend at the DSSP Boo B Que By The Sea. "We had so much fun and received a lot of advice and help from the pro competitors so we decided to add equipment, build on what we continue to learn from the pros and compete in contests that we do not have to travel too far to get to. After all, our 'fleet' is made up of a 1989 jeep wrangler, a 2005 Dodge Caravan and a 1987 small utility trailer." A very heart-felt shout-out to Mike and his "Sir-Porks-Alot team for letting me watch over their shoulders. You helped us get our best finish so far. I learned more in an hour than I could watching 100 hours of competition shows. We'll never forget you guys, best wishes.. I love the BBQ family!
