June 28, 2017

 

Call to Order:  Mike Hays, President called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM CST

Roll Call:  Mike Peters,  Dennis Polson,  Mike Hays, Mike Richter, Sandy Fulton, Wayne Lohman, Joe Otto, Arlie Bragg, Randall Bowman,  Michael McDearman, Phillip Brazier

KCBS Office:  Carolyn Wells

Arlie Bragg moved and Randall Bowman 2nd that the meeting go into Closed Session.  Motion passed.

Wayne Lohman moved and Sandy Fulton 2nd that we go into Open Session at 7:38 PM.  Motion passed.

Randall Bowman moved and Arlie Bragg 2nd that we accept the Consulting and Marketing Agreement as discussed in closed session.  Motion passed.

Mike Peters moved and Dennis Polson 2nd to move into closed session to discuss seating of Judges.  Motion Passed.

Mike Richter moved and Michael McDearman 2nd at 8:31 CST that we move in to Open Session.  Motion carried.

Dennis Polson moved and Mike Peters 2nd to revise Advisory 5.01

“Should an Organizer and/or Promoter of a contest be allowed to see the scorecards after judging is completed?  The Organizer and/or Promoter, Judge Coordinator, and Rep of a contest may not ask for the Judges score average for past contests in any manner, for any reason, including, to utilize in selecting of judges for a contest.”

Opinion:   No.       June 28, 2017

Dennis Polson move and Mike Peters 2nd to amend the main motion “Should an Organizer and/or Promoter of a contest be allowed to see the scorecards after judging is completed?”

Opinion:  No.  Nor can an Organizer and/or Promoter, Judge Coordinator, or Rep of a contest ask for the Judges scoring average from past contests, in any manner, for any reason, including, to utilize in selection judges for a contest.  June 28, 2017

Amendment to the Main Motion passed.

Phillip Brazier moved and Wayne Lohman 2nd for meeting to adjourn at 8:35 PM CST. Motion passed
