Currituck Heritage Festival Rescheduled for November 3rd, 2018
Currituck County, NC – The 3rd Annual Currituck Bulls & BBQ Heritage Festival and KCBS Competition is hosted on the beautiful grounds The Currituck County Rural Center each year. The rescheduled event, Currituck Bulls & BBQ is set for November 3rd, 2018 and Cook Team Applications are currently being accepted until Monday, October 29th.

The Currituck Heritage Festival (Bulls & BBQ) is a yearly state sanctioned event where the Grand Champion will receive an invitation to the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Cook-off. The prize monies to be awarded is $11,500. Nine additional teams are needed to reach twenty-five teams.

Featured activities include Live Music and a Professional Bull Riding Rodeo.

Participating teams include Fred Vegas Smokers, Checkered Flag 500 BBQ, Grate Smoke, Old Colony Smokehouse, Chock Full of Barbecue, HamTown Smokers, Smoke-Aholics, Fire Pigs BBQ, Smokey Dog BBQ, Grillin’ Thyme, Carolina Smokin’ John’s BBQ, Puff Puff Pig, 270 Smokers, Carolina Shine, Great White BBQ, Redneck Scientific, Burn Barrel BBQ.
