Highest Points At A Contest – Correction

January 21, 2008
Turns out that a tally error lead to an incorrect award at the KCBS Banquet. The winner of the highest points at a contest was actually Pellet Envy (who scored 689.1432 in Columbia, MO), and not Learn2Q (who scored a 678.8574 in Albertville, AL).

Thankfully, both of the individuals behind the teams are current board members (Rod Gray and Troy Black, respectively). Which lead to one member’s suggestion for a quick resolution of the matter: that Rod and Troy arm wrestle at the next Board meeting to see who gets to keep the crystal!!

(For those of you who are interested: odds makers in Vegas don’t give Troy a chance! Which means the staff is already fast at work on getting a new award for Rod, who rightfully earned it. Congrats, Rod!)
